The NYCoS Renfrewshire Area Choir was formed in September 2003 and annually recruits children age 8 upwards from primary schools in and around Paisley. It currently has over 200 members.
As well as their annual end of term concerts, members of the choir have taken part in local charity concerts and events.
In 2006, as part of the NYCoS 10th Anniversary events, older members of the NYCoS Renfrewshire Choir joined other NYCoS choirs in an edition of the BBC's Songs of Praise from Glasgow City Halls.
In October 2007 the Youth Choir perfomed a concert during the Paisley Choral Festival. In December members of the choir were asked to perform at Raymond Gubbay's 'The Spirit of Christmas' in the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
In April 2008 they took part in the Renfrewshire Record Club concert, and in December performed at Glasgow's Winterfest Programme at George Square.
In May 2009, the NYCoS Renfrewshire Area Choir took part in a fundraising concert in Kilbarchan Parish Church. The choir also performed at the St Andrews Society Charitable Trust dinner in November of 2009.
